“If I succeed I will become the first Pakistani in the history of the world to do so,” he further added.
In an interview, the singer revealed the reason behind his motivation to fly. The television host spoke highly of his motivation and said, “Unlike other countries, Pakistan does not have its name in the general aviation history. This is my tribute to the brave soldiers and the resilient nation of Pakistan.”
He hopes to become the first Pakistani Muslim to travel across the globe with less than 100 hours of experience. This journey, according to sources, will allow him to set a new never-done-before record.
“I would be the first person to achieve this feat as previously, pilots have attempted such a record with at least 250 hours of flying time; a fact which has been confirmed by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) in Switzerland,” Fakhr-e-Alam said in the recent interview.
Apart from Fakhr, almost 200 people have attempted to do similar flight missions around the globe, however, with only 250 if air-experience. Fakhr will be the first one to do it with 100 hours of experience.
