Atul Manjrekar’s Fanney Khan has caused quite a stir around the globe as it brings back two of Bollywood’s well-known actors together, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film’s latest song Mohabbat has left no stones unturned in putting Aishwarya in the spotlight and the introduces her as “superstar sensation,” – Baby Singh. Spotlights on, crazy fans cheering her on in the background, and a very addicting song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.. so, how did this happen?
Earlier this month, a trailer of Fanney Khan was released and we got a glimpse of the diva in action playing as a dreamy singer, Baby Singh. Aishwarya makes quite an entry on the stage as she dazzles with her shimmery dress, stylish hair and a mind-blowing performance that you surely need to watch. Even the catchphrase of the song, “jawan hai Mohabbat” seems like it is not leaving our heads anytime soon!
Additionally, Frank Gatson Jr is the genius behind the choreography of the two songs in the film, Mohabbat and another one which has created a lot of hype. Mostly because in Mohabbat, Frank has choreographed Aishwarya to dance like Hollywood pop sensations such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna. And it looks like Frank will be choreographing Fanney Khan in the next song as well!
According to the trailer, Fanney Khan revolves around a character named ‘Fanney Khan’ who will be played by well-known actor Anil Kapoor has already created a lot of hype among the fans with his acting. From what we understood by watching the trailer, the story revolves around a father and his desire to see his daughter Lata, who wants to become a famous singer. However, Fanney doesn’t have money to get her album released. The struggle that he endures for his daughter just so he can make her dream come true is what the film is all about.
The film also stars Divya Dutt (as Anil Kapoor’s wife) and Rajkummar Rao (as Aishwarya’s moonstruck fan). Fanney Khan is all set to hit screens on the 3rd of August 2018. Till then, check out the trailer below:
