Vinod Khanna a big loss for Bollywood entertainment industry. Died at 27th of April 2017 he gave the industry his best of everything. He was an astonishing actor and a creative producer as well. He was the recipient of two major Filmfare awards. Besides entertainment industry he was also an active politician and was the sitting MP from Gurdaspur constituency. In July 2002, Vinod Khanna became the minister for culture and tourism in the Atal Behari Vajpayee Cabinet. Six months later, he became the minister of state (MoS) for external affairs.
Vinod Khanna made his debut in 1968, his entry in industry was majorly small roles or small negative roles. His negative role as the main villain in the super hit movie Mera Gaon Mera Desh and, his role in the critically acclaimed movie Achanak. Khanna was popularly hailed as one of the most handsome lead actors ever in Hindi films by his fans. Vinod Khanna was hospitalized over a month ago for cancer but the family then remained tight-lipped about his condition. Due to his prolong illness he died at the age of 70. His funeral took place at a crematorium in Worli, Mumbai, in the evening which was attended by a number of known personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Ranjit and many others.
