After many delays and months of waiting, the Pakistan Air Force film Parwaaz Hai Junoon finally hit the screens on the 21st of August. Needless to say that the movie has brought the audience a new genre of entertainment and a sneak peek to the struggles of the Pakistani air force. Before we start with our review of the film, check out the trailer below:
The first half of the film paints itself in a serious image with little to no comic moments. The story focuses on the Sania (Hania Amir) who dreams of souring the skies and fighting for her country. Along with her, there’s Hamza (Hamza Ali Abbasi) and Saad (Ahad Raza Mir) who come in terms with the harsh everyday training of the force while bonding as friends.
Aside from that, the audience can expect the story to unveil the harsh realities of life, patriotism, and tear-jerking moments. The film is also strong in its aesthetically cinematographic shots. Moreover, the acting skills of the star-studded cast are also one of the reasons that viewers should be excited about the movie. Hania Aamir’s chirpy, fresh persona stands out well, while Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ahad Raza Mir’s respective characters show real emotions in the long-run.
The film also manages to portray PAF well; from the training colleges to their swift responses against terrorism, Parwaaz Hai Junoon manages to glorify the military perfectly. In conclusion, Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a perfect film to watch if you are a military fan or want to try something new. It’s not hard to fall in love with this movie!
