Sammy Tweet In Pashto Won The Hearts of Zalmi Supporters
Darren Sammy led his team Peshawar Zalmi to victory by hitting 16 runs on just 4 balls.
Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators clashed in Sharjah in what was an absolute thriller. Peshawar’s skipper Sammy got injured as he bowled his third over. He picked up 2 wickets for 21 runs on just 16 balls.
Opponents Quetta Gladiators gave a decent target of 141 runs in 20 overs. In response to this target Zalmi’s batted good enough but Quetta kept on picking wickets. Darren Sammy came out to bat at a moment when the team needed him the most.
The captain Sammy limping and standing on one foot played a memorable 16 run innings. Hitting two sixes and a four. Watching him play like this for his team was a spectacle.
