The movie starts off with Sanjay Dutt (Ranbir Kapoor) with an ambition of being in a biography through a writer, before he surrenders himself to the Supreme Court’s judgment in the Arms Act case. He turns to a more experienced writer when a film writer fails him. That’s when he meets Winnie (Anushka Sharma) to pen his biography and starts narrating. We get to hear about the intimate and deep insights about his heart-wrecking story. However, just like any other Hirani film, Sanju also has a taste of humor that easily blends in with the scenes.
