Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta was recently accused by Rakhi Sawant for sexually harassing her ‘several times’. The Bollywood actress who had started a revolution of India’s first ever #MeToo movement and encouraged several other women to step forward with their claims, was caught in a sexual harassment allegation herself on Thursday.
While addressing a press conference, the former Bigg Boss contestant claimed that she had been “raped by Tanushree Dutta several times” on several occasions. According to Sawant’s claims, Dutta is a lesbian who has taken her to several parties and forced her to take a green powder in the form of a cigarette.
“I am too embarrassed to say this but I was raped twelve years ago… I am ashamed, upset and hurting while telling this story,” she told the reporters.
“I want to tell the world that this disgusting incident has taken place with me, not just once but several times. I am afraid to take names because I am getting threats of murder and gang-rape. I have even filed a complaint to the police,” she added.

She continued to state her relationship with Dutta, “Tanushree was my best friend.”
While talking about the defamation suit of INR 10 Crore that was filed against her by Dutta, the model stated: “You have slapped me with INR10 crore defamation; I will revert with INR50 crore case.”
She further added that she was silent up till now, even when Dutta made allegations against Nana Patekar. However, she has now chosen to stand up against Dutta.
Earlier last month, the former Miss India contestant shook the internet when she came forward with sexually harassment allegations against by multi-award-winning Bollywood star Nana Patekar. According to her, he harassed her during the shooting of the romantic comedy Horn Ok Pleassss, which was released in 2008. Dutta also accused Patekar ten years ago when she left the film.
After a major gap of ten years, the allegations surfaced when she repeated her claims during an interview last month. She also accused filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri of behaving inappropriately towards her during the shooting of the 2005’s Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets. However, Patekar and Agnihotri have both denied the claims.
