On th eve of 14th August, the Global Marquee, Karachi was the host to the most iconic Pakistani band Strings as the city celebrated the independence with their favorite duo. The crowd turned out in big numbers as the venue was a full house and the whole atmosphere was giving the vibe of a festival.
Before Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood showed up at the event, earlier the crowd was energized by various national anthems and with Junoon’s evergreen hits like ‘Jazba Junoon’ and ‘Yaro Yehi Dosti Hai’ by Raafay as he kept up the heat on the stage. Dancing crowds and fireworks were also the highlight of the independence celebration. Strings performed on their hit numbers like ‘Dhaani’, ‘Koi Ane Wala Hai’, ‘Duur’ and the latest songs from their celebratory album ‘Sajni’ and ‘Urr Jaon’.
Nothing could have been better than celebrating the 71st independence day of our beloved motherland with the most popular music band of Pakistan. Strings also applauded the reunion of another iconic rock band Junoon as the band has joined hands after 13 years of being disabled.
The people of Karachi have yet agin proved the fact that they are no less when it comes to celebrations and the 13th August grand event is the proof that people of the city want to watch more live performance because nobody loves music more than Karachiites.
